-the True and Better One-let everything we read and think remind us that Jesus is better
These are a few of my favorite sites for parenting:
Hubbard’s Cupboard-This site is hands down the best resource I’ve found so far for teaching my kiddos. She’s got weekly plans for children as young as two and on past kindergarten. There are Bible verses for each week, games, songs, nursery rhymes, you name it. I’m so thankful for this site.
No Time for Flash Cards-This woman knows how to play with her kids. I love her crafts (nearly all from recycled materials), her pretend play ideas, and her book recommendations. This isn’t a blog based on Christian parenting, but I’ve learned a great deal about raising preschoolers here.
Let the Children Play-I want my children to love God’s word and God’s world. This site is full of inspirational ideas to get your kids outdoors and exploring. It’s a teacher writing from a play based preschool in Australia. You’ll not believe some of the amazing things these preschoolers do. This site encourages me to get outside and let the kiddos get dirty.
Crafty Crow-Is there a more comprehensive site for crafts? This blog is overwhelming to me at times but any time I need help with a craft idea, I go here. There are ideas here for nearly all ages.
Made by Joel-Though I don’t have the tools Joel has, I’m still able to do some of the great crafts he suggests. This guy knows how to recycle trash into kid magic. The dog and cat pull toys had my kids laughing and racing for hours-no kidding.
