I’ve lived the days and the years when I did whatever I thought was best.
Woke when I wanted, read what I wanted, talked how I wanted, prayed when (if) I wanted, spent money and time just as I wanted.
And I’ve felt the pain of those wants, the mistakes of those wants, the regrets of those wants. Now, all I want is to want what’s best.

I can’t help but want to live this life just as I want so this day, I’m praying to want God most of all. After all, it’s the one who delights herself in the Lord that receives all the desires of her heart. When my love is set on Him, whatever He wills for this day will make the day something that pleases me too.
