There are startling social and cultural trends in the 21st Century. We are living in strange times. These are Burning Bushes that are perplexing and even shaking what it means to be a Christian—even what it means to be human in 21st-century modern society.

Age-old assumptions about family, descent behavior, and even gender are now questioned. Christianity is divided.  True Christians are being marginalized and becoming undesirables, especially in Western countries. Technology has alienated us. Humanity is constantly online yet so lonely.

Furthermore, morality is declining and undergoing an unprecedented makeover. We have not learned from thousands of years ofrecorded history. There are inconceivable continuous oppressions, genocides, wars, and injustices.‍
