We are living in very strange times that are polarizing societies. 21st Century introduced the “Woke” nomenclature. This term has evolved significantly over time and now denotes excessive political correctness or identity politics. Its impact can be felt everywhere: politics, the media, education, businesses, and even religious organizations. Those who do not get the Woke perspective du jour are frowned upon and even discriminated against. Unfortunately, Woke values and perspectives have infiltrated some Churches.
